Small setup errors create surprisingly large workout problems. Generating a session for the wrong location can produce unavailable equipment, poor substitutions and unnecessary editing.
Let the common case be easy
If you train at one place most of the time, make it your default. AnyGear can use that location for faster planning while keeping other locations available when your day changes.
A default is not a permanent commitment. It is simply the best assumption when you do not make an explicit choice.
When to switch first
- You are training at home instead of the gym.
- You are visiting a different branch with another layout.
- You are travelling with limited equipment.
- Your usual area is temporarily unavailable.
Choose the location before requesting the workout. It is easier to generate from correct constraints than to repair a plan built from the wrong room.
Tip: audit your default occasionally
People move, memberships change and home equipment grows. A thirty-second check can prevent weeks of irrelevant suggestions.
